London : One of the world´s most international gay metropolis

With a population of 8 million, the UK´s capital is a popular gay hot spot and a famous city trip destination for gay boys and men from all over the world. Throughout its interesting history London has always been the center of different cultural movements.

Gay Life
As a cosmopolitan global metropole London´s gay scene is very diverse and colorful. The scene is huge and fascinating, the atmosphere tolerant. There are hundreds of gay bars, clubs, cruising locations and gay shops spread all over the city, but of course, in some areas the gay life is more concentrated. For gay visitors the area of Soho is THE place to be in London.
Soho is a traditional neighborhood in Central London next to China Town and especially around Old Compton Street you find a lot of gay bars, clubs and gay shops. Here, hot gays from everywhere meet, chat and flirt every single night. It´s usual to hop from one cool bar to another and get in contact with many new people.

Nowadays the area of Vauxhall has become the mecca for gay boys, searching for big clubs, loud music and fetish gay parties in London. Located in the south of the city, Vauxhall offers prominent sweaty clubs and always crowded events. For guys, who want to party all night long, Vauxhall is definitely the place to be.
Also the East End of London is a gay hot spot away from all the gay mainstream of Soho and Vauxhall. Here you find more quiet and alternative locations like hip cafés and galleries.

The annual gay highlights like the London Gay Pride, The Gay Film Festival and the bank holiday weekends every spring are good dates to visit the city!

Culture and Sights
Today, the cultural, religious and economic background of London´s population is one of the most diverse worldwide. The different influences are noticeable everywhere and make London’s atmosphere unique.

Visitors from the entire world pop through London every year to visit Big Ben, Westminster Abbey or Buckingham Palace. You can book one of the tourist bus tours for around 20£ to see all the famous sights or you go everywhere by London Underground, which is easy and cheaper! It makes sense to buy a so called Oyster Card at the beginning of your trip as you can take every public transport with it.

Some of the world´s most famous museums are located in London like the Modern Tate or The British Museum, where you can spend easily many hours without getting bored. Fortunately most of the museums in London are for free. From the top of St. Paul´s Cathedral and the London Eye, you have a wonderful view over the whole city. London also has a high number of musicals like Pricilla- Queen of the desert or the Spice Girls musical.
