New York is the self-proclaimed center of it all and the biggest city in the US! Things happen in New York whether you are there to see them or not. There is always something crazy going on in the city that never sleeps.

Gay life
Holding up to its reputation as party capital of the world, it’s no surprise that New York City is home to tons of hot gay bars and nightclubs. Gay locations are spread all over the city and there is no exclusive gay neighbourhood. Especially in Manhattan and Brooklyn you find hundreds of gay bars, gay clubs and other gay spots like saunas and shops. Brooklyn has become the center of techno parties and hipster places recently, Manhattan offers mainly mainstream events and commercial gay happenings.

Sight Seeing
There is no shortage of things to do in the big apple, from landmarks and sightseeing to Broadway musicals. You will never run out of things to do and experience here.
A must-do for every tourist is the Empire State Building. Located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, the Empire State Building experience is so much more than just a view. From the observation deck you have a great view all over New York. Unfortunately the entrance fee is with $32 quite expensive. A good alternative is the top of Rockefeller Tower!
Another highlight of New York City is the famous Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty National Monument welcomes thousands of people visiting daily. All visitors must purchase a ticket for ferry transportation to the parks; you should do that in advance to skip the long queue. 
A walk through the legendary Central Park belongs to every New York visit. The green park full of trees, grass and lakes is the perfect spot to relax and take a break from the hectic city life. In summer time people come here to hang around, enjoy the sun and just to be themselves. Bow Bridge is one of the most photographed and filmed locations in Central Park and it deserves every bit of its star reputation. You should go there on a date!

You are a food lover? On every street corner you’ll find a shop with new interesting and delicious foods. There are fantastic breakfast places, amazing Sushi restaurants and great China places.  Even if you stayed here for a year, you still wouldn’t be able to scratch the surface of what the Manhattan foodie scene has to offer. Please don’t forget that a New York pizza is a must-try for any first timers and must-have for return visitors. Be open and try something new, you will get the chance in New York!
